Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1974 Triumph TR6 for your
consideration. It is powered by its peppy 2.5L straight-six with a
4-speed synchromesh manual transmission. 60 mph could be reached in
as little as 8.2 seconds and it could hit a top speed of 120
mph.
Finished in Emerald Green, this car has excellent paint. The body
is very clean and straight and has great chrome detailing too.
Fitted are stock 15in alloy wheels with trim rings, and Union Jack
decal. The black convertible top fits snug and has a clean rear
window.
The interior features black leather seats that look wonderful
complementing the black interior. A wood dashboard creates a clean
look and the car has the factory wheel and shift knob that complete
the British sports car package. This example was the recipient of a
body on restoration that reached completion in 1992. The selling
owner notes the vehicle has always been garaged and stored in the
winter.
The TR6 is considered the last of the traditional British open
sports cars. They offer a pure, open-air sports car motoring
experience that is unique to the brand. The sound, the feel, and
handling is something that any driving enthusiast should
experience. The traditional design, mechanical reliability, and
parts availability make them easy classic sports cars to own. For
these reasons, they have become proven investments. This TR6 is a
blast to drive and is a great entry-level sports car for anyone
looking to enter the classic car arena. Please call or email with
