1949 Ford Custom. Originally was a a coupe that has been modified to be a convertible with a chopped front windshield. I have had the car for 9 years and just cannot do everything I want to on the car (typical story...too many projects!). When I bought the car it had a cosmetic restoration. I have focused on mechanical and suspension. The pictures make the paint look great, but there are a few blemishes. I bought this to cruise...not show. It has the original flathead V8 (239 cu in). Most of it is original, including the vacuum fuel pump (so she takes a bit to get started, can be fixed with an electrical fuel pump). Has a three on the tree for shifting. Needs work to make it more reliable...it is a 71 year old car!! The ramps shown in one of the pictures can be bought as well for $1200...pretty much the only way to work under the car if you do not have a post lift.
