This originally yellow Corvette, repainted steel cities gray is a
427 big block car thats been swapped to a 454. The motor is a 450hp
build, with 396 heads, .600 lift cams, and 11:1 compression ratio,
and is mated to a Muncie M21 4-speed manual. This Corvette sounds
and drives amazing, and is ready to rumble up to any muscle car
meet. The black leather interior is also in great shape, as is the
wood steering wheel. The 1968 Corvette was the first year of the
third generation C3 body style, and featured all new interior and
attractive, coke-bottle exterior design. Two body styles were
available: the removable t- top coupe, pictured here, and a
convertible with optional hard-top. Later models lost power, as the
government mandated emissions requirements. Engine options for the
68 ranged from 327ci all the way up to a 427ci, and were mated to
either 3 speed auto or a choice of 3- or 4-speed manual. Call or
