Vehicle Description
Here's a heck of a lot of muscle car for the money. This modern
classic 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has a fuel-injected 32-valve 305
hp V8, and it's done one of the boldest colors around with a very
speedy look. So there is no better way to turn heads for the
price!
Ford wanted to up its game even beyond the awesome GT, so they
resurrected the Mach 1 package. Available for only two years, the
2004 is the preferred model to have because it's also the Mustang's
40th anniversary. You're looking at one of only 768 that were
finished in this very cool Screaming Yellow for '04. This is the
right color to have because not only is it one of the rarest of the
already rare 7,182 examples, but also it has the bold finish
similar to the Grabber Yellow from the muscle car days. It looks
absolutely fantastic when combined with the body kit and striping
package that are a modern take on this muscle car legend. And we
know your eye immediately locked on the cool shaker hood. The
special 17-inch alloy wheels even are a great modern take on the
classic Magnum 500s we all love.
The retro theme continues inside where seats are intended to recall
those found in vintage Mustangs, complete with silver accents and
comfort weave-style inserts. Of course, these leather buckets are a
lot more comfortable and supportive than the 1960s vinyl. The full
instrument panel has a satin silver surround and special gauges
reminiscent of the early Mustangs. But beyond these cool touches,
these Mach 1s are desirable because you also got all the best
features, including power windows, power locks, keyless
entry/alarm, cruise control, tilt steering column, power seat,
AM/FM stereo with six-disc changer, and cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning. A modern classic also means modern safety features
such as dual air bags and anti-lock brakes.
The Mach 1 was special for another reason: horsepower. This DOHC
32-valve 4.6-liter V8 was upgraded right from the factory. This
included a twin-bore 57mm throttle body, high-flow heads, a special
setup on the camshafts, and a performance exhaust manifold. The
result is a 305 horsepower juggernaut. Ford engineers also took the
time to add a host of suspension improvements front and rear to
make this an enhanced driver for the enhanced performance V8. The
five-speed manual transmission even has a short-throw shifter for
you to get the maximum enjoyment and maximum control. Plus, there's
power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and grippy Goodyear
Eagle ZR45 tires.
You're looking at a rare collector Mustang with modern appeal. But
you're not the only one who has recognized how affordable this
coupe is. So hurry and call today before it's gone tomorrow! This
car was repaired from an accident in 2009 and is currently being
sold with a salvage/rebuilt title.
