A 408 cubic inch fuel injected V8 working with a TKO 5-speed manual effortlessly gets the job done. The engine has aluminum heads and is dressed with chrome finned valve covers, chrome air cleaner, plus a polished A/C compressor. A set of coated headers empty into a full-length dual exhaust system with a trick H-pipe and dual chrome tips. Beautiful metallic silver exterior paint is accented with dark gray and burgundy vinyl graphics, and the back panel is blacked-out, GT style. A touch of Shelby with the hood scoop and center mounted headlights adds an upscale feel, as does the two tone custom interior. It retains the revered classic appearance, but look closer to see Dakota digital gauges, a custom sound system, and Vintage Air. That irreplaceable and iconic wood rim Mustang steering wheel, however, remains in position. Four wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors are an appropriate modern mod, and they're visible behind chrome 17-inch 5-spoke Ridler wheels. Staggered Uniroyal tires -- 205s in front and meaty 275s for the back -- bring good looks, performance, and a comfortable ride.
