Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has received investments to give you
fuel-injected power, an overdrive transmission, upgraded
suspension, and a distinct A/C interior. So it has the look of a
two-tone classic and the feel of a terrific cruiser.
A 1957 Bel Air is the icon we all want to get our hands on, and
that only gets better on a post coupe like this that has extra
distinction. The factory-correct two-tone had a quality investment
to deliver an Adobe Beige and Sierra Gold that had a great 1950s
appearance that shine with nostalgia. When you're doing a quality
restoration, that means a solid investment in the brightwork to
keep it shining, too. Mirror-like bumpers, bright double
jet-inspired hood ornaments, complete sweeping side trim, and the
iconic gold anodized "V" leading the way - this is why we love the
'57 Chevy today. And while this looks complete, right down to the
whitewalls, you also pick up on a few hints that this is a true
custom. The rear fan trim is color-matched to the roof, there are
bright exhaust tips, and the suspension sits a bit lower. It's
signaling that this one has extra style and speed.
The same two-tone exterior theme continues on the inside. Keen-eye
Chevy fans will notice the distinct Del Ray pattern upgrade. And
with the seats, door panels, dash, carpeting, and headliner all
feeling fresh and look so well coordinated, you will show this
interior off with pride. There's even upgraded R134a air
conditioning so you can bring everyone along in comfort. This has
great classic elements like the stylized steering wheel,
crisp/classic gauges, bright dash, and working AM radio. Even
upgrades like the Stewart Warner temp gauge and Sun horizontal tach
are classic-style pieces. But that EFI touchscreen mounted on the
dash can't hide this Chevy's true modern nature.
Just like the rest of the car, the engine bay is dressed to
impress. It's a tidy setup with clean inner fenders, newer hoses,
nice belts, and an overall look of a strong investment. In the
middle is a 327 cubic-inch V8 with plenty of flair. Our favorite
piece is the polished air intake that has twin snorkels reaching
from outside the engine compartment. This fresher air is feeding a
Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system. That's great for
both added consistency and stout performance that you get to
dial-in on demand from the driver's seat. It's the kind of classic
that you'll enjoy taking out on the road. That's why it also has
terrific upgrades like a tubular A-arm front suspension and
four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
Plus, air ride shocks in the rear, power steering, power brakes
w/discs up front make for a quality total package.
