This is number 1,238 out of only 2,050 made. 3 owner car with just
21,513 actual miles. It has been very well cared for and it shows.
The 35th Anniversary edition is all decked out with white trim
inside and out. It also received commemorative badges several
options.
EXTERIOR: Overall the body is excellent, no damage. The paint
appears to be original and in very nice shape. The front runner
bumper is not damaged but does have hairline stress marks in the
paint, you would have to be looking for them. The body moldings,
mirrors and door handles are white, it also has chrome Anniversary
emblems. The wheels are obviously white too, they have new G-Force
performance tires. It has 2 tops: black painted and smoked acrylic.
The acrylic top is scratched up, it should polish out. The
weatherstrips and window seals are excellent. Rear hatch window
opens with an electric button. The flip up headlights work
fast.
INTERIOR: Very unique white interior rarely seen in a Corvette. The
white leather sport seats are in really good condition with minimal
wear on the side bolster. It also features an all white leather,
hand stitched steering wheel. It also has white door panels and
center armrest cushion and special floormats with white bound
edges. Part of the anniversary package also included power sport
seats on each side, electric climate control, lighted vanity
mirrors and defog package. It has full digital dash. The t-top
locks in place in the rear compartment. It has an upgraded modern
stereo.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, it's exceptionally clean. I was very
impressed. It looks 100% like it left the factory. Nothing is
messed with. Front suspension is even clean. Bottom of the hood is
clean, both under hood lights work. It is a 5.7 liter Tune Port
Injection motor that runs beautifully.
UNDERSIDE: Also very impressive. The bottom of this car is
exceptionally clean. It is not greasy or corroded. It must have
been a nice weather car and stored in a dry climate. Aluminum
suspension front and back. Has Billstein shocks. Exhaust is
excellent and looks stock, still has converts. The bottom of the
motor is clean, the 700R-4 overdrive automatic looks clean, it
still has assemblyline stamps on it. It has a limited slip rear
end. All the components look clean and proper. The floors show no
damage. Spare tire carrier is proper.
Documented with copy of window sticker and build sheet. Includes
manuals, original demonstration cassette tapes and 1988 Vette Vues
magazine.
Definitely a car of the times. I could picture this on an episode
of Miami Vice! Very collectable investment.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
