For Sale: 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass in Jefferson, USA_WI

Vehicle Description

This car was sold new in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Florida is where it has lived its entire life.  It came to me from a man from Davie, FL.  We have the original brochures, Owner’s Manual, Warranty Booklet and the Broadcast Card.

Florida life allowed this car to remain very solid.  The floors are untouched and in immaculate condition.  The trunk floor is near perfect and very solid.  The body panels are straight and appear to have never been corroded.

The interior of this car is completely original.  I believe the lower portion of the door panels may have been replaced and it would seem likely that the carpet was replaced.  It is just too nice.  But who knows?

This car has its original Parchment bucket seat interior.  It has the center console with shifter.  There is an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette stereo mounted in the stock location.  It did not operate for me.

The body was recently repainted to the original Aztec Gold.  This is a darker Gold that has quite a bit of metallic in its composition.  In dim light, it looks like mocha, but in the sun it really looks golden.  The paint is very nice.

I believe the bumpers are original to the car and are in great driver condition.  There is a bit of pitting adjacent to the license plate bracket, but that is not very visible.  The rest of the chrome and trim on the car looks great.

This a Cutlass S with the 350 Rocket V8 and Turbo 350 Automatic transmission.  There is true dual exhaust starting with cast iron manifolds, flowing through free-flowing mufflers and exiting out the rear.  It has great highway gearing with a 2.56:1 ratio and open differential.  Your ride is adjustable due to air shocks.  This car is a Cruiser!

It still has four wheel power drum brakes.  It has power steering.  The Four Season Air Conditioning blows cool, but not ice cold.  I will try to add a little R12 Freon to see if that improves the cooling.  It has Soft-Ray tinted glass.

The color matched Rally Wheels are now 15 inch.  They are wrapped in 235/60/15 Radial white letter tires that are near new.

The white convertible top is like new.  It appears that the top motor was recently replaced and the lines also look new.  It works great.  The rear window is glass.  We have a new Parchment convertible top boot on order.

At this time, the fuel gauge is not working.  The horn blows, but it actuated by a below dash button.  All lights are working properly, as are the wipers and parking brake.  There are two sets of keys which actuate all locks.  There is a spare tire and lug wrench in the trunk.  I have a jack set coming soon.

This is a great running, driving and appearing original car from Florida.  To cap it off, we have attached an original Broward County, Florida 1969 license plate.
