The sound of the LS2 growling through those vintage side pipes will

bottom of this Corvette features a host of noteworthy upgrades.
Behind the raucous small block, a Tremec TKO500 5-speed spins
power through a fresh driveshaft to a completely rebuilt independent
rear end with highway gears. That stout drivetrain rides on a beefy
independent front suspension that's upfitted with square-tube control
arms, and coil-over shocks . Stops are provided by the 4-wheel power
Wilwood disc brakes. Power flows to the pavement through polished
17 5-spoke chrome rims, which spin 245/45R17 Nankang Sport NS-1 tires.
Aesthetically, this Chevy's Satin Black undercarriage is virtually spotless.
And everything, from the car's beefy sway bars to its strengthened
crossmember, is expertly finished, superbly detailed and ready for action.
Luxurious Seating comes courtesy of firm leather thrones that are
anchored between new seatbelts, bright stainless trim and a small
console that's centered on a chrome 5-speed shifter pattern.
From the driver's perch, a traditional clock, Corvette's cross flag
emblem, and controls for the AC, ride between what appear
to be restored factory gauges and an aluminum-trimmed glove box.
Below that dash, lights illuminate like-new carpet and fresh chrome
sill plates. Above those sills, stainless-trimmed door panels hang small
armrests, traditional chrome handles and stylish red accents in front of
power-assisted windows. In front of the driver, a wood-trimmed steering
wheel spins around a brilliant cross-flag emblem.
In the console you will find a remote control that controls a
single CD head unit (w/mp3 player hookups) and 6x9 speakers that have
been installed in the rear.
