timeless profile that's traced in crisp Oxford White two-stage and
a full array of Matte Black Shelby stripes. That contrasting
detailing, which hangs clean "SUPER SNAKE" callouts opposite bold
"SHELBY" callouts, highlights aggressive rockers, taut fender
emblems, and heated, power-operated and carbon fiber capped
mirrors. Above those mirrors, tinted glass centers a clear Center
High Mount Stop Lamp on a sculpted wing, intermittent wipers and a
Shelby Dual Intake Ram Air Hood. At the tip of that hood, automatic
HID headlamps combine with LED fog lamps to light a massaged
front-clip, which anchors anodized billet grilles behind a matte
splitter and requisite Super Snake branding. And, opposite that
signage, a glossy, traditional valance founds monochromatic
"SHELBY" lettering between a matte diffuser, Shelby-stamped exhaust

Whipple supercharger to crank out an astonishing 750 horsepower!
Front-and-center, Shelby-installed cold air induction makes
excellent use of a billet throttle body, high performance fuel
injectors and a highly polish blower. A high-performance Shelby
Extreme Cooling System utilizes a beefy radiator and an aluminum
heat exchanger to help the raucous mill keep its cool.
Monochromatic Shelby coil covers join a carbon fiber air tube,
billet Shelby caps and Shelby fluid reservoirs to dress things up a
bit. And, as with all Shelby specialties, this Mustang proudly
displays a small Shelby American badge that verifies its
authenticity.
SEE YOU AT THE TRACK!
Straight from Dearborn the S550 Mustang is a very capable
foundation; and with a few upgrades from Shelby American, it
becomes a true force to be reckoned with! Behind the engine, a
Ford-supplied 6-speed uses a one-piece, Shelby-supplied driveshaft
to spin a limited-slip differential around optional 3.31 gears.
That drivetrain powers a tight Shelby Performance Track Handling
Suspension, which is augmented with electronic power steering. At
the corners of those bones, Shelby brake ducts cool choice
Shelby/Wilwood calipers, which utilize standard anti-lock hardware
and AdvanceTrac traction control to squeeze a quartet of slotted
rotors. At the corners of the floor, forged Shelby blades spin
hardened and shortened wheel studs around 275/35ZR20 Michelin Pilot
Super Sports and 305/30ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. And the
car's killer engine note is provided by a rowdy Shelby-tuned Borla
exhaust system.

Inside this coupe, Shelby-installed Katzkin leather adorns snug
bucket seats that feature heat, cooling and power adjustment for
both the driver and front passenger. The dash is a familiar Mustang
layout, which hangs satin-trimmed instrumentation beneath a small
Shelby American badge and Shelby-commissioned Auto Meter Cobalt
accessory gauges. Below those gauges, SYNC 3 infotainment bundles
