Body and Paint:
- California truck with great solid body.
- Clean original frame without any rust or cuts.
- In spring 2020 the truck was restored and painted (High quality work and materials).
- Hood, doors, cabin inside & out, front and rear fenders, truck bed and tailgate painted in red.
- Running boards painted in gloss black.
- In my opinion this is by far the best color for a classic truck. Just beautiful!
Chrome parts
- Front bumper in chrome.
- Blinker assembly in chrome.
- New chrome hood emblem installed and rubber installed.
- Original 1956 Ford F100 front grill in chrome.
- Original chrome V8 emblem.
- New chrome 1956 F100 side emblems and rubbers installed.

General information about this make and model:
The Ford F100 from 1953 till 1956 is the second generation of the Ford F-Series. The Ford F-Series was redesigned by Ford for 1953 with a more integrated look. The pickups also obtained their widely familiar names: The F-1 now became the F-100, the F-2 and F-3 now became the F-250, and the F-4 now became the 1-ton F-350. Optional interior amenities were new, including a dome light, lighter, armrests, sun visors and a radio. On March 13, 1953, the Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission became an option.
The 1956 F-100 is a one-year only body style. The 1956 F-100 is easily identified as it has vertical windshield pillars and a wrap around windshield as opposed to the sloped pillars and angled windshield of the 1953-55.
The second generation seems to be the most desired body style for collectors and enthusiasts. The short bed style is the most valuable version, V8 automatic is also the most desired option (based on selling prices). I consider the value of at least $45K (as of August 2020).
