We have a very nice original looking 1972 Monte Carlo here at
Skyway Classics with only 49K original miles and was bought from an
estate of the Original Owner that offers you a chance to drive a
great-running small block two-door 70's era collector car.
Mechanical
Our Monte Carlo is powered by a numbers matching 350 cubic inch V8
engine topped by a stock carburetor, intake, chrome valve covers,
the Chevy orange enamel on the block, and chrome air cleaner, and
all other factory components, air conditioning, power steering,
power brakes, backed by an automatic transmission.
Underneath it is very solid, with no frame damage and original
floors, as well as an exhaust system that sounds great without
being overly loud.
Interior
GM called the Monte Carlo, like we have, a personal luxury car and
it shows inside ours which has the original cloth blue split bench
front seat and matching rear seat, door panels and dash, with a
gauge panel that was similar to that found in a Chevelle, gauges
that are in excellent condition, burled walnut in the dash,
original steering wheel, blue floor mats, Monte Carlo steering
wheel, and all in good condition.
Exterior
Our Monte Carlo is painted in a factory shade of Code 26 Mulsanne
Blue with a Black Vinyl top. All the body lines and door fitment is
good, as well as the chrome front and rear bumpers, window glass,
and wheel well trim.
It has the factory left-hand remote mirror and new Rallye 15 x
7-inch wheels with new whitewall tires and rides and drives very
well.
Conclusion
The original looking 1972 Monte Carlo we here at Skyway Classics
offers a rare opportunity to own a period correct Monte Carlo which
is mostly original and will only increase in value as time goes
by.
