Vehicle Description
The Triumph TR6 is a sports car built by British Triumph Motor
Company between 1968 and 1976. It was the best-seller of the TR
range when production ended. This fine example has been
professionally restored where the overall detail speaks for itself.
Triumphs' were offered as a convertible only. Construction was
conservative; the body was bolted onto the frame which features a
front anti-roll bar, rack and pinion steering and semi-trailing arm
independent rear suspension. The iconic look of the TR6 was
completed by very distinctive 15 inch wheels and tires. Power is
provided by the 2.5 liter inline 6 engine and 4 speed manual
transmission. Inside, a walnut veneer dashboard houses a full
complement of instrumentation. Tan bucket seats sit on pile
carpeted floors and the luggage compartment is fairly roomy for a
two-seat sports car. The following lot is being offered by the same
consignor and an extensive collection of documentation on the cars
will be included with purchase.
