Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is a full custom build with an extra
sleek exterior, a custom/comfy air conditioned interior, overdrive
transmission, and a big block that so mean it even peeks out from
the hood. It's an awesome total package where they took the time to
make every inch a sleek and ultra-powerful head-turner.
A first-year Camaro is a bold choice to turn into a pro-street
custom build. Sure, they are small in size and light in weight. But
they are also big in stature, so this is a valued classic that's
now really showing off its wild side. The red is such a rich and
deep color that it's a sure sign that this quarter-mile burner has
never had to scrap it out on the back streets. Instead, it has the
kind of shine that lets you know it wants to be seen even if it's
lurking around at midnight. In fact, while the butterfly air intake
poking out of the hood instantly signals this is one powerful
coupe, the overall looks is always ready for the car show. The
iconic RS front has a cool billet-like look, and rear is sleeker,
too, with a custom LED light panel. The ultra-smooth body panels
are made sleeked by shaved door handles. And those 17-inch Rally
wheels are far larger than stock. So they not only give you more
shine to go with the other brightwork, but also allow for better
modern tires.
Electric door poppers make getting into this custom impressive. And
as you look inside, you can see this is fresh and thorough build
that ideally mixes performance and comfort. The high-back front
buckets will remind you of a Corvette, and they power adjust to
your ideal position. The leather with cloth inserts seen here is
matched with the rear seats. Power windows make it easy to show off
the pillarless hardtop profile, and so people to get a clear view
of the custom door panels, carbon fiber inserts, and new dash. Even
the trunk is nicely finished with carbon fiber style trim in this
thoughtfully finished build. There are nice comfort features like
cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and an AM/FM/CD stereo with
Bluetooth. They make it easy for the driver to get comfortable with
a classic-style Chevy sports steering wheel made into a smaller
diameter. And that's mounted on a tilt column so you get a clear
view of the classic-style AutoMeter gauge package.
The menacing air intake is the kind of thing that's going to make
people want to see what's under the hood, and so this one makes
sure the engine bay is ready for primetime. It's a tidy setup with
a ton of polish, right down to the hood hinges. There's even more
of the carbon fiber style look everywhere from the valve covers to
the top of the radiator. But beyond this style is a whole lot of
substance. This is a 454 cubic-inch V8 that was bored over for a
monster 468ci total displacement. Plus, they added a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, upgraded intake, and headers. This is also
supported by the right components, including a serpentine belt
system, an MSD ignition, steel braided lines, and a Be Cool
aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. This mighty motor is
also a strong runner, and the dual exhaust makes a terrific rumble.
But any time you really want to bring the thunder, the switch for
the electric cutouts lets this one announce it's a mean machine
from blocks away. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is
stout enough to handle the power while also giving you overdrive
comfort. This custom build feels particularly sharp from behind the
wheel thanks to features like the QA1 adjustable coilovers, a rear
sway bar, power steering, and power brakes with front discs.
