1951 Mercury, with many custom features. Car is powered by a Small block 350, backed by a 700R4 (for the over drive), and a Camaro rear-end. The car is also subframe with donor parts from the same Camaro. Aluminum directional wheels pop against the black wall radials. She drives and rides like a dream. Great highway car, or cruise around town. It’s got you covered on interior comfort and style as well. Custom made, blue tweed type fabric covers on the seats and door panels have custom embroidered Betty Boop. There is a custom-built center console as well. Tilt Steering column and Air Conditioning complete the comfort package, with blue tint to the windows.
As you can see, the exterior is a brilliant blue as well. There are a couple minor blemishes, as would be expected in a well-loved, gently used hotrod. Door handles have been shaved, and wiper arms removed, adding to the sleek appearance. Doors do have a small push button release. 53’ Buick side trim, and chrome leg pipes accent the profile, while custom pinstriping sets off the nose of the hood, door releases, and trunk lid. The trunk is also tagged with the name Sweet Dreams. A name the has been with the car from inception, and never changed.
