Beautiful California 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider. A great example of an early Kamm 1 Alfa Spider, recently acquired from its long term 90 year old owner and a long time Alfa enthusiast in California. Always a California car this vehicle has had a great documented history of restoration, refurbishment, upgrades and service. Most importantly the engine was completely rebuilt 25K miles ago to include pistons, liners, rings, upgraded Euro camshafts, water pump, bearings as well as a new clutch, transmission service with synchronizers, universal joints and driveshaft hardware. Recently rebuilt dual side draft 40 DCOE Weber carburetors were added along with the European airbox to complete the intake system. A very nice header and aftermarket exhaust system are on the car which was also upgraded with Koni shock absorbers, braided steel brake lines, largely re-bushed suspension system, new braking system, new alternator. The interior refurbishment included upgraded Black leather seats, New Alfa rubber floor coverings topped with Alfa carpeted mats, newer door panels and a recent European black cloth top which was professionally installed and fits beautifully. A new boot cover from centerline was just added to the car. All of the instruments, lights and systems are functioning properly. The car sits on its original alloy wheels fit it with BF Goodrich radial tires which are in excellent Condition. The car has had one full professional repaint in its original color and many more upgrades including an electronic distributor, an upgraded 4 speaker audio system, a recent Dash cap, new Battery and much more.
