T-tops, late C3, so much to love. This is a neat little head-turner
with fun 1980s style!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight, and looks fantastic
for a car this age in original condition. This is a vehicle most
would consider to be a nice, driver quality car. The T-tops have
been tinted with reflective tint to give the car an extra little
touch of flash and bags are included to store them when not
installed on the car! T-tops on or off, to call this car a looker
would be an understatement.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The exterior is eye-catching, as any
Corvette should be, but subtle. The silver/dark gray exterior and
factory chrome wheels really complement each other well, and this
Corvette is bound to grab some attention! The paint is in excellent
overall condition, and this car could easily be enjoyed mostly
as-is. As nice as the paint is, it does have some minor age showing
here and there indicating that this is either the original paint or
an older repaint.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is black leather, and it
looks nice for its age. It certainly isn't flashy, but it does look
great! The interior appears to be all or mostly original, and is in
well-maintained condition. The mileage reads just over 55,000, and
based on the interior condition we believe that to be accurate.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is a tried and true Chevrolet
350 V8 engine. While a 350 is a classic choice for a C3 Corvette,
the 1982s were Cross-Fire fuel injected making for easier starting
as well as being less finicky on cold days than carburetors. The
engine bay is clean and complete, and the engine purrs just like it
should!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The nice original condition!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Late C3s aren't for everyone,
but other than that there's not much to dislike.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This Corvette will need a new set of tires
and the heater core replaced, as the heater core is currently
bypassed.
