outstanding job merging the vintage style and feel of the first
T-bird Roadster with modern reliability, comfort and technology.
This is a car that satisfies the urge of wanting a classic with
none of inconveniences of a 64 year old antique. It truly is a
pleasure to drive, it's so easy and comfortable.
EXTERIOR: Appears to be original paint, I closely inspected it
looking for signs of repaint and found none. The paint is actually
in excellent condition. The shape of the grill, placement of the
fog lamps, the scooped hooks and round taillights really bare
strong resemblance to the original 1955. This is a 2 topper. Has
power German cloth black convertible and lift off painted hardtop
with classic porthole window. Has 17 inch chrome wheels, the tires
only have 2,000 miles on them
INTERIOR: Very sporty and luxurious all in one. In between the
leather wrapped sport seats is a console which offers cup holders
(won't find those in a 55) and the "select shift" shifter. New for
2003 this allows for both- automatic and manual shifting. The
interior is also filled with power accessories including a power
tilt and telescoping steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There's a V-8 with 32 valves, double overhead
cams producing 280 hp, 27 more then the year before. The motor
compartment looks new. I think it's a great looking too. The air
cleaner housing is sharp and proudly displays V-8 and Vintage
Thunderbird emblems. the coils were known to go bad. This car just
had all 8 coils, plugs and EGR valve replaced. Runs like a
jewel!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Like new in the trunk. It is fully lined. Under
the floor is the location of the battery, original spare and
jack.
UNDERSIDE: Still looks nearly new. Everything looks proper. Has
original dual stainless exhaust system. Has ABS ventilated disc
brakes at each corner. It also features traction control,
independent suspension front and back and a 5 speed automatic.

you. It is so easy to drive and operate at the same time is fun and
will make you feel good!
