Vehicle Description
With a cool color combo, proper V8 power, and an absolutely iconic
appearance, this 1932 Ford Highboy is a roadster with style and
substance.
There were some nice choices made on this '32 Ford that make it a
great driver's roadster. For example, those 17-inch alloys still
leave room for a hint of that classic stance with larger and wider
rear rubber. But because the wheels are a modern size, you can fit
some pretty modern tires for better grip than many other roadsters
out there. The full chassis is painted black so that minor scuffs
don't show too much when you're out on the road enjoying this one
to the fullest. Even the white paint on the corrosion-proof
fiberglass body seems to have an attitude that this was made to be
appreciated as a true driver's car.
While you already have a bright white exterior, the red interior
just loves to radiate from within and really draw people in. The
seat has a particularly thoughtful look with the white piping and
stitching to coordinate with the exterior. Even the door panels and
dash have the white stitching for a uniform quality that'll be
great to show off. The black carpeting hides the dirt, so don't
worry about dusting off your shoes before hopping in on a whim and
going for a drive. And that easy driving attitude is what this one
is all about. That's why you have a grippy sports steering wheel,
tall gearstick, and the dash is dominated by the crisp and clear
full Dolphin gauge package.
The engine bay shows off proper V8 power with a little extra flair.
The Chevrolet valve covers are painted black to match the firewall,
and the red lettering and plug wires are a nod to the bold
interior. And the dual plenum air intake has a very cool look while
also feeding fresh air to the 350 cubic-inch small block beneath.
This V8 has been upgraded with a Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor
and a performance intake. It also is supported by the right pieces,
like billet aluminum pulleys, HEI distributor with electronic
ignition, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. Those headers
give you the choice of having a full exhaust or truly bringing the
hot rod thunder with cutouts on each side. The TH350 three-speed
automatic transmission feeds a ford 9 inch rear end for good
all-around driving. Up front there are hairpins and disc brakes,
and the rear has ladder bars and adjustable coilovers.
As you start to look over all the details, you really see how this
is a well-done package for those who like driving. So if you want
