1954 CHEVROLET 3100 EXTENDED CAB 5 WINDOW
Car History
While 1954 Chevy 3100 trucks are really cool and collectors are
getting very fond of them, we have one of those trucks here at
Adventure Classics that is absolutely one that you will not see
very often.
It is a vintage truck with a custom extended cab 5-window
conversion that has plenty of modern flair while still having the
1954's distinct front end and vintage look too.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our 3100 has a more modern powerplant to with 350 cubic-inch Vortec
motor that was installed. The Vortec engines were introduced by
General Motors in the mid-90s based on the original 1955
Small-Block Chevy V8.
The redesigned cylinder heads of a Vortec engine provides for
improved combustion efficiency as the intake ports of the engine
provides for better cylinder filling and fuel atomization by
promoting higher air flow velocities to the combustion chambers via
the ports.
It has all the power options you would see like power steering and
brakes as well as air conditioning and is backed by an automatic
transmission.
Interior
Inside is a sharp-looking interior with plenty of comfort added in,
too. It starts with twin bucket seats separated by a console with
cupholders and matching door panels and headliner.
The great custom dash features blue LED lit gauges, billet custom
steering wheel with a tilt column, Xtreme Sound AM/FM stereo radio
system and speakers with a CD player, a bunch of billet controls,
good carpeting and Chevrolet Logo floor mats, and the desirable
five-window cab lets in plenty of extra light.
Exterior
Our 1954 Chevy has a long, lowered suspension that gives a sporty
look that complements the upgraded alloy wheels on Fire Hawk Indy
500 tires. While all of this is quite modern, it still has the
right traditional details, with the great silver paint scheme with
the maroon side stripes, running boards, and side-exit exhaust.
Conclusion
With a smooth silver look on the outside, custom interior with A/C,
and the power of the VORTEC power under the hood, this 1954
Chevrolet 3100 5-window cab extended cab truck we have here at
Adventure Classis is certainly unique and attention getting.
