This '23 Ford T-Bucket roadster/pickup is a custom build based on a
Total Performance Inc. (TPI) street rod package. The current owner
claims that it was the last streetrod built by TPI before being
acquired by Speedway Motors, Inc. in March 2009. A packet of
documentation relating to the build is included with the car. The
TPI Stage III chassis mounts a 4" dropped tube front axle, single
leaf front suspension and a rear Watts Linkage/coil-over design.
This set-up handles very well. A TPI fiberglass T-Bucket body w/14"
bed was factory finished with Matte Black gel-coat that fits the
build perfectly. The interior is classic hot rod with aluminum
bucket seats, vintage Model T steering wheel, wood trim, a full set
of VDO gauges and TPI 'Performer-Style' windshield. Horsepower
comes from a built 305 GM small-block with HO heads, Comp Cam
(.443/280), Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor,
'Sprint-style' roadster headers and plenty of chrome. Cooling is
handled by a Champion Racing aluminum radiator w/electric fan.
Behind the engine sits a GM TH350 3-speed automatic transmission
and an 8-inch Ford differential that houses 2.89:1 gears. Vintique
steel wheels sport 15" Hankook performance radials. Additional TPI
chassis upgrades include custom fuel tank/lines, fuse box/wiring
harness, Wildwood front disc/rear drum brakes, dual-master
cylinder/brake lines and running lights. This handsome '23 T-Bucket
will certainly be a great addition to your garage. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS IS".
