This is a 1950 Ford F1 pickup truck. This has received a full body-off restoration in 2017/2018. Stripped down to bare metal and built back up. Full photo album to be provided as part of the sale which documents the restoration process. Body color is custom blue with clear coat and hot-rod black for undercarriage. Rims are blue and silver. Running boards are Line-X coated for durability.
Original flathead 8-cylinder motor; new seals (front and rear), oil pan seals, head gasket, new carb installed in 2017. New oversized alternator installed in 2019. New aluminum radiator installed with powered fan to keep the engine running cool on hot summer days. MSD ignition controller.
Transmission is automatic. New brakes and brake lines throughout.
New glass across entire truck.
All new electrical system throughout truck.
New aluminum fuel cell located under bed of truck with electric fuel pump.
New hardwood oak stake sides and bed floor, stained and polyurethaned.
New LED headlights, directionals and tail lights.
Interior is a mixture of reproduction and new; dashboard gauge panel is milled aluminum panel with brand new gauges (fuel, tach, oil, battery, speedo). Speedometer is GPS for accurate speed measurement. COLD BLOWING A/C from Vintage Air installed. Bench seat uses original frame, upgraded and installed with new gray vinyl cover - very comfortable for longer drives!
Drives straight, does not pull. Stops on a dime. Accelerates like a flathead should and has plenty of power, even with the A/C running!
