California car! Clean and excellent running convertible Mustang.
The current owner bought the car in 1992 from the second owner. The
289 had already been replaced with a 302 prior to her purchasing
the car. She had the 302 rebuilt as well as the C4 dual-range
automatic and has put on approx. 1,200 miles since. Manual brakes
and steering. There was also a Holley 4 bbl added.
The car was originally sauterne gold but was repainted in red
approx 30 years ago. The paint as well as all of the chrome,
stainless, etc. has held up exceptionally well. Original body
panels.
The Pony interior is original with the exception of the carpet and
drivers seat cover. She added the Rally-pac but the tach is
currently not working. Power convertible top is in excellent
condition and works great. Original AM radio works. Original tools
and bag in the trunk.
GT wheels were added. Recent work includes new brakes, springs, and
rebuilt stock front end. Runs and drives excellent. Only leaving
her longtime ownership because she is not using it enough. Clean
California title in-hand.
