Vehicle Description
The Oldsmobile 98 is the full-size flagship model of Oldsmobile
that was produced from 1940 until 1996. The name - reflecting a
"Series 90" fitted with an 8-cylinder engine. It was, as it would
remain, the division's top-of-the-line model. Oldsmobiles were
redesigned for the 1957 model year giving a wider stance and much
lower look. They also had more powerful engines and a power package
(the J-2) was available - which is exactly what's fitted to this
1957 Oldsmobile Holiday Ninety-Eight Holiday Hardtop. Additional
features on this beauty include power steering, power brakes, power
windows, power seats, auto light dimmer and signal seeking radio.
This fifth generation example has had just one repaint in its
original color of Desert Glow.
