I think the Calypso Coral with white interior is a stunning
combination. The Marti Report verifies this Mach 1 was born this
way. Rare, only 813 were ever made in these colors.
EXTERIOR: One of the best looking designs of all time, in one of
the greatest colors and decked out with all the goodies. Pure eye
candy. The body is really straight, I don't see any signs of damage
or blisters. The paint is very glossy and beautiful. There are some
minor flaws if you look for them. The rear 1/4 extensions were
molded in smooth, no seam. The gloss black hood stripes are painted
on and are smooth to the touch. It looks like most of the trim has
been replaced- the bumpers, hood locks, door handles, taillights,
gas cap, 1/4 window trim, moldings around the windows (although
there are a couple of small dents on the trim above the
windshield). It has front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers
and sport mirrors. The Magnum 500 wheels and BFGoodrich tires are
new about a year ago. The door jambs are clean, the weather strips
are in good shape.
INTERIOR: Born with a white deluxe interior and overall it is in
very good shape. The dash pad is excellent. The upholstery and door
panels are overall very good. Carpet, headliner, visors, the
plastic trim is all very good. It has a custom steering,
aftermarket tachometer and neatly installed gauges in the console.
There is a digital command center for the fuel injection.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very healthy performance built, fuel injected
351 Windsor. It has a lopey cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake,
MSD ignition system, FI Tech injection and ceramic coated headers.
Dressed up with a set of finned aluminum Cobra valve covers and air
cleaner. It has billet spacers under the valve covers to make room
for the performance rockers. It features power steering and brakes.
An electric fan helps keep it cool. It has an Optima battery.
Everything looks nice, the components are proper. It has fuel
canister with pressure regulator and pump. The engine bay is clean
metal all painted body color. It has a Monte Carlo support bar. The
original buck tag is still attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal in the trunk. It has a new plaid
mat. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and
glossy.
UNDERSIDE: It is cleaned and painted very nicely underneath. Under
the inner fenders are detailed and painted body color. The front
end was completely rebuilt- bushings, balljoints, springs, shocks.
Subframe connectors attach the front to back. It has new leaf
springs and shocks in the back. Bottom of the motor is spotless,
has high torque starter. The C-6 automatic trans has a shift kit.
Ford 9-inch rear end has 3.00 gears. All new fuel and brake lines.
New fuel tank and sending unit. Has disc brakes in front, e-brake
assembly looks complete. All the components look new, restored and
proper. The floors are restored, all solid metal.
Born will all these desirable options including air conditioning
which is longer complete. Vintage Air makes the components needed
to have cold air if so desired. This is a sexy car!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
