Vehicle Description
This 1979 Ford F-150 is the right year, has the right look, the
right recent investments, and has the right V8 power to give you
proper 4x4 ability. So when it's also priced-right, you're looking
at the right deal.
The '79 F-Series is quite a desirable truck. After all, the
sixth-gen pickups are some of the most sought-after around, and
this final-year came with the distinct grille and square
headlights. And these Fords always look good in Wimbledon White.
This is a later application, and so you get quite a nice gloss in
the sunshine. And speaking of shine, there's also some good
brightwork in the chrome bumpers, new grille, and full-length trim.
But what we really like is the well-coordinated look of black
against the white. You see in in places like the rub strip of the
body trim, tailgate trim, and the upgraded 15-inch vector-style
wheels. They even invested in a new bed liner that not only adds to
the black accenting, but also it means this F-150 is still ready
for real truck duty.
The black really takes over the inside, and now the white is the
accenting. The presentation is absolutely vintage, right down to
the wood-like trim on the dash. But as you look a little closer,
you can also see they made all the right investments. The new seat,
new door panels, new floor pans, and new carpeting give this a
fresh feeling where you know you'll want to spend some time. So the
truck is inviting without losing the classic atmosphere. This even
has the side vent windows and slidinging rear glass, and together
they provide a breeze through the cab like only an old-school truck
can.
You can instantly see more great investments under the hood. The
351 cubic-inch V8's engine block has fresh paint so the bold blue
radiates from within the dark inner walls. Plus, it has all the
right stout equipment, like a rebuilt carburetor, newer
distributor, plug wires, and a fresh tune-up. The V8 fires up
strong, and the headers help the dual exhaust make a sweet rumble.
The two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted stance, and Nexen Roadian
all-terrain tires are great for off-road work. And the three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front
discs are there to make sure you can easily enjoy this one in-town,
too.
You know this F-150 gets it correct in all right places, including
the price. So it makes for a classic 4x4 you need to get your hands
on right now. Call today!!!
