For Sale: 1982 Datsun 280ZX in Kentwood, Michigan

The S130 designation was given to the Datsun 280 ZX or the Nissan Fairlady Z or the Nissan Fairlady ZX. It just depended on what area of the world you were in and the marketing strategy. However you slice it, The 280 ZX was named Motor Trends import of the year in 1979. The ZX was a complete re-design over the earlier Z cars offering a lot more comfort and convenient features. They were really gearing there marketing towards single successful people that wanted performance but were not going to sacrifice creature comforts. These cars were highly technologically advanced and have been popular ever since. This particular car is a ONE-OWNER car with less than 100,000 miles. Still sitting on the original title. The car has been lovingly cared for and driven. It is completely 100% stock with routine service and maintenance with receipts available. We have the original bill of sale, odometer statement and warranty card along with service history as well as a clean carfax. This 280 was purchased new in November of 1981 at Key Olds-Datsun in Warren, MI. There is a couple spots on the wheel wells with some superficial rust (nothing through) that would need tended to but this is not a rusty car and would make a perfect candidate if you wanted to sparingly "restore" a car. The car runs, drives and stops. Interior is very decent for the year. The A/C blows cool but not cold but everything works well. This is a nice car to drive as-is or do some upgrades and have a really cool time-capsule.
