Vehicle Description
Street rod motoring is all about distinction, and it's hard to do
better than this. A genuine steel-bodied example of the 1935 Ford
Tudor slantback sedan built with a beautiful paintwork, a 400ci V8,
and a comfortable A/C interior. It's everything you want in one
very cool package.
This car is the product of a multi-year frame-off restoration that
was completed in 2018, and we have over $36,000 in receipts that
went into this labor of love. That's why the first impression this
one gives is a cut-above classic. We understand exactly why there
would be this level of investment. 1935 was a great year for Fords.
This was a new, sleeker design with the now-iconic wrap-around
grille headlining new features like smoothly flowing fenders that
framed the wheels and gently rounded bodywork makes it striking.
It's all finished in a bright white with a hard shine that gives
this classic look like it was made out of porcelain. But this is no
fragile machine. The golden tequila flames instantly announce
you're looking at a stout street custom. And they go nicely with
the gold and burgundy custom pinstripe package.
Inside is a custom gray interior built for luxury. It starts with
the two-tone buckets that are vastly more comfortable than anything
out of the 1930s. The Ultraleather feels fresh, and it has a
great-looking pattern on the seats that's continued on the custom
door panels. The dash, door tops, and tilt steering column are all
finished in a deep burgundy to add a tasteful splash of color to
this street machine. Plus, you have plenty of comfort amenities
such a cold-blowing air conditioning, power driver's seat, armrest
center console, cup holders, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with modern
Bluetooth. You'll enjoy getting behind the grippy banjo-style
steering wheel and peering at the full set of crisp VDO gauges. And
the tack in the center is another reminder that this one is about a
powerful driving experience.
The butterfly-style hood is a great way to get attention at car
shows, and because of that, they also made sure the engine was
ready to show off. The smooth firewall and all the polished
components will give you plenty of pride. And the air topper is
even flame-etched to coordinate with the exterior flames. More than
just look great, you have serious power with a 400 cubic-inch V8.
It's enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, MSD
ignition, electric fans, and tight-tuck headers. While this is a
wicked motor with a sweet rumbling dual exhaust, it's also built
for driving. The undercarriage photos show nice upgrades like the
tubular A-arm independent front suspension and tubular arms in the
rear. Plus, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission,
and power brakes w/discs up front are all there to make sure you
can go anywhere in style and comfort.
This hot rod feels like the kind of cut-above construction that
comes from a labor of love. So you know this is one special machine
that won't stay long in our showroom at this price. Call
