BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Silverado is very nice. Being that
it has always been a southern truck, it is clear that a very solid
foundation was started with. Trucks don't stay this nice for that
long under heavy use up north! The body is incredibly straight and
solid on this truck.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: This truck was repainted about 3 years
ago in a 2011 Chevrolet color, and really makes this old girl pop!
It has a brilliant shine to it, and really brings this truck up to
snuff. This high-quality paint job really helps this old girl stand
out in a crowd.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition is perhaps the
most pleasantly surprising aspect of this truck. If you've ever
owned a squarebody before, you know how these interiors begin to
look over time. While the seat, headliner, dash pad, and carpet
have all been replaced recently, there are many original components
that were cleaned and reused and their condition really shows what
a nice truck this was prior to being restored.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 V8 out of a
Nova that has been made to look factory correct in the engine bay.
It has a 4-bbl carburetor, power steering, power brakes, and is
equipped for air conditioning. The exhaust gives this truck a
little bit of rumble, but isn't too loud and is certainly adequate
for daily use. Sitting on a nice set of Pacer wheels and Hercules
tires, this truck is ready to hit the road.
The original wheels and a variety of new/spare parts are included
with the sale, including paint from the same batch that the whole
truck was painted with.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: This is a good, honest, Southern
truck that has been restored and taken care of. The paint is
outstanding!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Some may not care for the
color-matched fiberglass bed topper, but that is something that can
be easily removed.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The air conditioning is not currently
working, but beyond that this truck is turn-key!
