restoration was completed on the vehicle relatively recently based
on its exemplary condition. This example comes to us from a classic

The Galaxie was a full sized sedan that was built by Ford from 1959
to 1974. The Galaxie 500 and Galaxie 500XL were upmarket trims that
bordered on Mercury and Lincoln levels of features and luxury. The
newer 1965 models featured redesigned suspension as well as new
styling and interior features. A variety of I6 and V8 engines were
available as was a variety of body styles.
