The iconic 1957 Ford Thunderbird was the dream of many a young man
and woman back in the day. This extremely well restored example out
of Montana has all the looks that one remembers so well. The
restoration was completed in 2005 and the sale includes a book with
the restoration receipts. This D-Code Ford Thunderbird was ordered
with the 312 Cubic Inch V8 Single 4 Barrel Carbureted engine with
automatic floor mounted transmission. This '57 T-Bird was redone in
flame red and comes with both convertible tops, a matching red
porthole hardtop and a like new white vinyl soft top along with the
tonneau snap in cover which comes in handy if one gets caught in
the rain. With chrome Kelsey-Hayes knock-off wire wheels and new
radial whitewall tires, this classic Ford goes down the road like a
dream. This '57 Baby Bird also includes several nice extras
including both power steering and power assist brakes, as well as
dual chrome outside mirrors. The matching correct red vinyl bench
seat interior and red padded dash are in fantastic shape. The dash
and steering wheel appear stock and has the stock instrumentation.
The trunk and engine compartment have been recently detailed and
look great. The best and arguably most desire able of the mini
birds can be yours with this 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible.
