Vehicle Description
This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Is a terrific mix of vintage and upgrades.
It's the kind of truck where people just can't help but take a
closer look because there are so many great details. So it's time
to dig into all of them...
The color is officially Orange Crush. It was obviously not on
Chevy's palette in 1955, and so this modern color has a nice gloss
and a radiant hue that loves to attract attention. And the 20-inch
GTW alloys have a modern look that stylishly contrasts with the
paint. This was the first year for the Chevy's Task Force pickup,
and it's a design we all love. So it's great to see the body
looking good with nice panel gaps, doors with authority, and a hood
and tailgate that line up correctly. And speaking of the tailgate,
the gray striping matches the inner bed walls. And the real wood on
the bed floor coordinates with the custom side rails. This lumber
even has a touch of the weathered look to contrast the glossy paint
nicely and remind everyone a truck is still about an honest day's
work.
Where the exterior features the bright orange with black wheels for
accenting, the interior switches it around with a deep black and
the exterior Orange Crush highlighting custom pieces. In fact, even
the truck bed's gray returns on the sides and dash top (and the
backlit gauges really ties these colors together.) So it's a
thoughtfully coordinated total look. You can tell they really
reveled in the details just by the presentation of the seat. The
black with orange piping and inserts is quite striking. Plus, it
has been upgraded for comfort with the excellent bolstering for all
three places and headrests on each side. You get more worthwhile
features, like power windows, proper seatbelts, and a retro-style
AM/FM digital tuner. And it's nice taking control of this pickup
with the grippy wood-rimmed steering wheel and a tall floor shifter
to rest your right hand.
Under the hood is a 235 cubic-inch inline-six. This is the kind of
correct power for this Chevy, and so it's quite nice to have a
period-correct block to go with it. There's some extra flair with
the bright orange inner walls, shining valve cover, and matching
air topper, but people will also just marvel at how honest the
powerhouse is. The motor fires up confidently, and you get proper
control over it with the four-speed manual transmission. Plus,
power steering, modern tires, and upgraded power front disc brakes
make this a nice cruiser.
This is a detail-oriented true classic, and so we know it also
makes for an irresistible deal. Call today!!!
