Over the years, Jaguar XJ series sedans exported to the US have come in many configurations. All offered very satisfying performance and aggressive good looks. Each and every one confidently told the world that the occupants had 'arrived'. This 1985 Jaguar XJ6 Series 3 sedan has lived a good life. Partial restoration work was completed in 2009 including a handsome professional respray of the exterior. The Country Tan leather interior was refreshed with new seat coverings and carpeting. This is a comfortable cockpit with burlwood accents, A/C, AM/FM/cassette Sony 6500 stereo system, power tinted windows and a fully functional sunroof. (There are two very small cracks in the dash pad.) Horsepower comes from the 4.2-liter XK6 DOHC in-line 6-cylinder engine fitted with factory Lucas/Bosch L-Jetronic injection. It delivers approximately 205bhp and 231lb/ft of torque to a three-speed automatic gearbox. Our XJ6 has power steering, fully independent suspension, power disc/drum brakes and factory alloy wheels.
