1968 Ford Torino GT fastback 390 S-Code, 4 speed manual. Factory black car with nice repaint, red interior. Red C-stripe included. Car was drag raced in Delaware in the late 1970's with a 429 until 1982 when the 390 was put back in and the car was returned to the road. Traction bars and switches for electric fuel pump and brake line lock are still installed. Currently running with an Edelbrock 650, a 1968 Holley correct for a 390/manual is available. Manual steering and brakes. Added manual choke and temp/oil pressure gauges. Car starts easily and runs cool. New Centerforce clutch assembly, flywheel, and shifter installed April 2016. New front brake drums, pads, wheel cylinders and hardware installed July 2018. Parts to redo rear brakes will come with car but did not need to be done at that time.
Interior is driver quality with some split seams and a few headliner holes. The console appears to be one for an automatic car that was altered to fit a manual. Non-functioning AM/FM radio currently installed; should be AM only according to build sheet. Carpet is in nice shape.
This is a solid, good looking car that could be used as is as a driver you don't have to worry about or could easily be brought up to the next level for someone interested in a show car.
