Beautiful Playmate Pink Convertible 1967 Mustang. This was one of only 563 that were painted this color (also called Dusk Rose). Car was purchased in 1991 with 118,621 miles on it. At that time, the engine and transmission were rebuilt, convertible top fabric was replaced, and car was repainted. It has been in a garage ever since and only taken for short monthly drives to keep it running well. The new engine only has 8,300 miles on it, and oil has been changed every year. Engine is a 289 Cobra V8. New tires. Just spent $1,000 for brake system to be totally cleaned and flushed. Original upholstery and carpet. Official Ford Marti report available upon request. Note the picture of the Vehicle Information Plate. There is no paint code which validates the fact that the original color was a custom color (Playmate Pink)
Honest Disclosures: Fuel Gauge does not work. Brake light stays on, but that can be solved with some wire cutters. Slow transmission fluid leak (1/2 quart per year). Rear plastic window has small crack in the upper corner. The prior owner eventually painted it red, then in 1991 we restored back to its original Playmate Pink. (the engine bay under the hood was not painted red...... was always Playmate Pink). I have a picture if you want.
