1952 Studebaker Starlight coupe just out of a serious Studebaker
collection estate. Collector had his own mechanic, grounds keeper
and ranch maintenance man. These fine ladies were exercised and had
oil changes. The curator thinks the Starlight has 06,700 miles (not
106,000). Miles cannot be verified because Starlight was in the
collection 10 years before he started to work for the owner and his
wife didn't have any idea. But you can tell your friends it has
very low miles because she looks the part. Rare Starlight only 5000
made, but maybe 20% were built as the top of the line Commander
model, and of that 20% even fewer were V8's Totally different dash,
trim, emblems and interior and exterior trim and V8 emblems. She
runs, drives and performs nice (fun to drive). Very peppy
especially with factory 3-speed with gas saving overdrive. Great
interior, even headliner, door panels and seats are excellent.
Rust-free trunk, floors, frame and body mounts are nice and dry.
Straight body. Have the only one at any car show, parade, DQ or
anywhere you can think of. Nice chrome and stainless. Very
reliable, fun to drive, show off and be the talk of the town. These
great examples of "orphan" cars are appreciating nicely, so drive
