Vehicle Description
You can instantly tell there's plenty of custom work that went into
this 1978 Chevrolet Blazer. With its well-coordinated color theme,
aggressive details, custom A/C interior, and upgraded small block
power, this is an all-around awesome build.
We love the first impression this one makes. The slick red
immediately captures your attention, and as your eyes look down the
crisp details of this Chevy's sheetmetal, you start to see the
well-coordinated dark side. It starts with the hood where the
classic SS-style stripes also form two raised cowls. Plus, there's
the blackout grille, limo-grade window tint, black side mirrors,
and the black 20-inch Ridler alloys. The removable hardtop
especially adds to this dark attitude now that it's finished in
rugged liner paint. And you still get a nice hint of brightness in
places like the new headlights and the chrome bumpers. This is a
well-done package, and that's because when you do a family project,
you take extra time to get it right. It was a father and son in-law
team, and the full restoration took over a year to complete. And
since that was only a few years ago, the whole SUV continues to
look stunning.
There's more great investments inside. The red and black return in
spaces like the door panels, dash, carpeting, and center console.
It's now joined by a tasteful gray on the cloth seat covers. And
speaking of seats the driver's one is a great command position. You
have a comfy high-back bucket, upgraded sports steering wheel, and
a dash that forms around you. This has all the best comforts, like
power locks/alarm, cup holders, and a touchscreen AM/FM/CD stereo
with powered subwoofer and Bluetooth. We love these classic
full-size Blazer for the ability to remove the full rear section
and create a convertible truck. And thanks to cold-blowing R134a
air conditioning, it's easy to enjoy this features even in the
summertime.
Under the hood is the unmistakable look of proper Chevy V8 power.
This hardy 350 cubic-inch small block has been upgraded with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube
headers that add power while also contributing to the rumble of the
dual exhaust. It's easy to enjoy this Blazer thanks to
factory-style features like the three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front. Plus, the added
investment in this one means upgrades like newer suspension
components (including a new front sway bar) and the grip of wide
modern tires. So this has extra confidence on the road.
This Blazer was restored to have extra power, extra comfort, and
extra flair... So you need to hurry extra fast to catch this deal.
