Quickly becoming collectible classics, the late 70's TransAm's have
become more and more popular with car enthusiasts. The popularity
of Smokey and the Bandit and a resurgence of young people
interested in V8 powered, rear wheel drive cars have helped
TransAms like this one take hold in the market. The classic lines
of this TransAm are covered in a custom Dark Red Metallic paint.
The familiar Screaming Chicken decal on the hood, Firebird decals,
and Trans Am script on the rear of the car make sure that anyone
else on the road knows what this car is. The current paint color is
very similar to the factory color of Carmine - with a bit more
metallic added to the mix. The exterior features the shaker/vented
hood, vented front fenders, and rear spoiler. American Racing 5
spoke wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires give the car a custom
look. The interior is finished in black vinyl with just a few
aftermarket upgrades. Power windows, tilt wheel, woodgrain dash
trim, and bucket seats are factory options. Aftermarket additions
are: B&M Shifter, Wood Steering wheel, Oil Pressure Gauge,
Kenwood stereo, and Pioneer speakers. Delivering power and making
all the right noises is a 6.6L V8 with a 4BBL carburetor mated to
an automatic transmission. This is a car to consider if you're
looking for a familiar, fun classic American car. Custom paint
color, a V8, and a few tasteful upgrades make this car one to make
some space in the garage for. Be sure to check out all the photos
