Vehicle Description
This 1968 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova has the slick look of a Super
Sport on the outside. And as you dig deeper you're going to find a
performance-built small block and more of the right upgrades to
back it all up. Best of all, you get complete control of this Nova
with a six-speed manual transmission...yes, you read that
right!
Matador Red sets the tone nicely for this car. It's vivid and
aggressive. The high level of gloss and shine comes from utilizing
modern clearcoat paint and a professional hand applying it. Plus,
good body panels really bring out all those curves we love in these
Novas, like the crisp creases in the front end, kick-up on the rear
fenders, and fastback profile. Rivaling the paint for shine are the
mirror-like chrome bumpers and trim, so you can tell there was an
overall investment in quality. And since we know these Novas for
packing plenty of power, this has all the right details like the
louver trim hood, SS badging front & rear, and 17-inch American
Racing Torq Thrust wheels. While we can't say 100% this is true SS
Nova (would need to have original paperwork or matching numbers SS
only engine for any 68-71 Nova), it does have the proper SS
badges.
The black interior has a clean and nice presentation. But the real
investment here was about given the driver better performance.
That's why the bucket seats are upgraded to units with better
bolstering. There's an AutoMeter Sport-Comp tach front and center
ahead of the wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a full AutoMeter
auxiliary gauge trio was cleanly installed under the dash. And have
you counted the gears on the Long short-throw shifter yet?
Under the hood is a clean and mean looking V8. This 350 cubic-inch
small block has Jegs aluminum heads, a Edelbrock Performer RPM
intake, and topped with a big Holley Street Avenger four-barrel
carburetor. You'll also spot all the right supporting components,
like an aluminum radiator, billet pulleys, an MSD ignition, steel
braided lines, and block-matching cast valve covers. This one fires
up readily as long tube headers add even more power while also
contributing to the sweet tune of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. As
you check out those pipes in the undercarriage photos, you'll also
see traction bars and newer sway bars front & rear. And you're in
true control over the powerful motor and its rumbling soundtrack
thanks to the six-speed manual transmission (seriously, when was
the last time you've seen this many gears in a Nova?!) Power
steering, power brakes w/front discs, and modern sport tires
complete an awesome driving package.
This is the powerful classic coupe that lets you dial-in the
performance unlike just about anywhere else. So if you love a sleek
and well-done Nova, don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
