This is a very special Mustang!!! I have receipts on restoration for around $30,000. It is a phenomenal color combination with the incredibly cool Emberglo and Parchment PONY interior. It is one of the most striking Mustangs you will ever see. This car drives incredibly well and the factory A/C will freeze you out and it does not over heat!!
Some important points. First, this is a REAL GT not a car that someone made up. Second, it is a REAL PONY interior car also. Third, not all cars with the A code or K code were GT's. Only about 4 % were GT's! A very low number to say the least. Again, not one that someone made up.
This beautiful Mustang is also a car that has a tremendous amount of options on it. Please note the following; factory A/C, A/C Console, AM-FM Stereo radio that fits in original holes, remote truck release, power disc brakes, power disc brakes, power steering, PONY interior with original and fantastic condition wood rim steering wheel, Style Steel Wheels with RADIAL Red Line tires (not bias ply that drive really bad), GT equipment, i.e. – fog lights, special stripes and badging, dual exhaust which go through a special GT Valance, big sway bar, heavy duty suspension, 289, V/8 A Code Engine (4 BBL Carb).
In 1966 the GT’s had to be either A Code 225 HP cars or “K” Code 271 HP motors. C Code cars need not apply. HA!! HA!! It also has a Rally Pac and not only does the TACH work but so does the clock. One more thing. Quicker steering than the other Mustang’s.
I am sure that you can find other Mustang’s for less money but it would be VERY HARD to find another Mustang like this one. Please look and see how nice the underside of the hood looks. Most cars do not have such a spectacular looking hood!
