The Bentley Brooklands Coupe is a coupe version of the Bentley Arnage and is a hand-assembled model, made in very small numbers. Employing traditional coach-building techniques and craftsmanship skills in wood and leather, the Brooklands Coupé is the true successor to the discontinued Bentley Continental R and T. Production yielded just 550 cars and just one year of U.S. allocation.
The Brooklands is powered by a 6.75-litre Rolls-Royce twin-turbocharged OHV V8 engine, producing 530 horsepower and 774 ft lbs. of torque – at the time of production, it was the highest torque ever developed by a production V8 engine.
At an original MSRP of $400,000 + this example is equipped with a considerable list of standard equipment as well as rare options, including $29k Carbon Ceramic Brakes, Naim Premium Sound System, Disappearing “Flying B” hood ornament, Painted radiator shell, Park distance control, Rear view camera and optional 5-spoke 20-inch wheels.
