1964 Cadillac Fleetwood for sale $10500.00 OBO.
Stock everything, except for these modifications: flame paint job over the original black paint, custom rims and tires, stickers on headlights and side windows, smoke plexi-glass over stock rear taillights, tinted windows (tint level legal in Wi.) fringe hanging from headliner trim screws, ignition cap, muffler and tail pipe. A/c solenoid upgrade. All modifications can be easily removed to be put back to stock.
Original bias ply tires, rims and hubcaps included, as well as any take offs that came off the car, mainly the door trim bright work.
With new tires and rims installed, had the front end inspected and replaced items needing replacement, control arms etc. and aligned by Accurate Alignment Madison.
Bought with 8500 miles on odometer in 1998? Now has 19500 miles.
When purchased the car was tuned up, had frontend alignment and new components installed as needed and a check of the brakes. The tech that looked at the brakes and wheel bearings said components looked new, leading to speculation that the mileage may be original and not rolled over 100000. Note words Fleetwood are misspelled on both side (Fletewood), leading to speculation that the car had frontend damage that was repaired and then the car was parked? When purchased car had 1971 Illinois license plates installed (included in trunk).
Replaced shocks and springs with equivalent to stock units.
Radiator rebuilt.
Muffler and tail pipe replaced.
Black paint is as purchased, since it was showing some signs of age and cracking the flames were painted right over the original paint. There are areas where the paint is cracking, chipped and buffed through to primer, all done before purchase. Sheet metal is very straight with a slight dent on top of front right quarter panel.
Several items do not work,
Air conditioning, some electric window control switches, cruise control is disconnected, may or may not work, gas gauge (a known problem with these, sticky float), heater blower intermittent. Have not tried the headlight auto dimming light sentinel in years, may or may not work. It worked years ago. Auto up / down antennae is in up position. Battery holding bracket not complete. 1 of 2 dash lights not working. scuffs bottom right and left front bumper,( there when purchased)
Includes deluxe car cover and factory service manual. Also included is a newer set of black 15 inch rims that fit wide profile tires (5x5 bolt pattern).
