With a cool/rare color combo, four-on-the-floor, both tops, and a
great original style - right down to the V8 - this 1964 Chevrolet
Corvette L76 Convertible has all the right kinds of
distinction.
Daytona Blue was only offered for two years, so it's great to see
that any resprays have not strayed from the original dark hue. In
fact, you can really see they invested in quality with the paint on
this one by the way it continues to have nice gloss today. The car
really keeps an attractive stock style, and so this has the right
pieces, like the two-piece chrome bumpers, ribbed rocker panels,
and factory wheel covers with whitewall tires. Plus, you get to
choose between a color-matched hardtop or a white folding soft top
that tastefully contrasts against the dark blue.
But the best way to enjoy this C2 is going to be with the top down.
After all, a great sports car loves to put plenty of wind in your
hair, and this one is positively attractive with its correct dark
blue interior. The trim tag tells us it was born with this terrific
color combo inside and out. In fact, this car really loves to show
off a factory-style attitude throughout. You see it everywhere from
the clean materials like the dual cowl dash, right down to
features, like the working Delco AM/FM radio. And you'll love how
this classic communicates directly to your senses with the
wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, Hurst shifter, and crisp gauges
with large speedo and tach.
Lift the hood, and you'll find a beautifully honest 327 cubic-inch
V8. This is the numbers-matching unit of the Sting Ray's optional
L76 motor. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, this was built for
higher compression and higher lift camshaft. It was rated from the
factory at 365 horsepower, and only the expensive fuel-injected
model was more powerful. On the road, this motor has the right
amount of snarl through the dual exhaust, and the control of the
crisp-shifting four-speed transmission really lets you experience
this to the fullest. Plus, the Corvette's full independent
suspension really makes it a driver's classic.
This is the strong-running Sting Ray with all the right distinctive
features. And so at a price like this, you're looking at a very
attractive deal. Call today!!!
