The paint and body on this example is the product of good care and
a professional restoration later in life (1993). The
factory-correct Riverside Red has the brightness and depth to give
this the right look of quality. The result is a true iconic
American. After all, a red Sting Ray gives every one of us the
fantasy of cruising a car hop for late night burgers, and then
parting the midnight air with the sounds of breaking in fresh
asphalt. And '64 is one of the most desirable body styles. It has

look. The bumpers are bright, the doors close with confidence, the
panels line up nicely, and the details are great - including the
race inspired 15-inch wheels with knock-off hubs.
Open the door, and it feels like 1964 all over again. There's a sea
of red on the carpets, bucket seats, headliner, and dash. It's
vivid, bright, and has the telltale look of a proper investment.
Just about the only thing that breaks up this festival of scarlet
is the grippy three-spoke steering wheel that is truly worthy of a
vintage sports car. We also love how the black coves of the dual
cowl dash really focus your attention on the full gauge package
with large speedo and tach. It's so authentic inside that the Delco
AM/FM radio is still there for display. But while you could get air

Under the hood is a true legend. It's the 327 cubic-inch V8 with
the unmistakable look of a Rochester fuel injection unit on top.
This is the numbers-matching block, and so instantly understand why
this coupe has been treated with such care. After all, this was one
of the most expensive, and thus, one of the rarest options of 1964.

the engine bay was in award-worthy condition. More than just look
crisp and clean, this V8 has its injection system dialed in correct
