'53 Ford Sunliner convertible is a great highway cruiser. PRICE REDUCED!!! She's full custom with features such as: '77 351 Ford engine, C4 transmission, 8" Granada rear, quarter panels with scoops, front frenched headlights, '56 Oldsmobile frenched tailights, dual antennae, '56 Chrysler floating grill and 1946 Lincoln door buttons.
Purchased at the Englishtown, NJ swapmeet in 2000 this car was a complete basket case (as you can see from the earlier photos taken at the time). I saw it as a diamond in the rough because back in the 50's Ford didn't make a lot of rag tops. Hard tops, however, were a dime a dozen. I decided to dress up this little lady and make her pretty again!
