Vehicle Description
The 1962 Studebaker Lark Regal was redesigned in 1962 to compete
with the new line of compact cars coming out of Detroit at the
time. The new '62 Lark featured new front and rear styling, as well
as interior upgrades, that updated the look in a handsome
understated way. Studebaker designed the Lark as a compact vehicle
riding on a 108.5-inch wheelbase and used the same basic drive line
and many of the interior components as the larger Studebakers
before them. This '62 Regal, with Daytona badging, is equipped with
a 259.2 Cubic Inch Overhead Valve V-8 engine, single 2 barrel
carburetor, and a manual 3 speed transmission with overdrive. With
dual exhaust, this little Studebaker has a great sound. Painted in
a metallic turquoise poly with a white convertible top, this
compact Studebaker is sure to turn heads. The chrome and stainless
are like new and really add that wow factor. This '62 Lark sits on
4 whitewall radial tires with full Studebaker wheel covers. The
Turquoise Vinyl and Plaid Cloth Bucket Seat Interior complement the
exterior look of the car and give this Lark a truly 60s vibe. The
dash and steering wheel look to be in wonderful shape and besides
the under-dash mounted aftermarket air conditioning, they appear
stock. This 1962 Lark Convertible is a rare gem. You can jump in,
put the top down and enjoy this car for years to come.
