Vehicle Description
This 1960 Studebaker Lark Regal VIII Convertible is by far the
nicest Lark we have ever seen. This particular Lark convertible
well taken care of by the previous owner who owned the car from
1984 until his recent passing. Studebaker originally designed the
Lark as a compact vehicle riding on a 108.5-inch wheelbase and used
the same basic drive line and many of the interior components as
the larger Studebakers before them. The Lark featured new front and
rear styling that updated the look in a handsome understated way.
Available in two series, this is the upscale Regal VIII, equipped
with a 259.2 Cubic Inch Overhead Valve V-8 engine with a single 2
barrel carburetor and Flightomatic automatic transmission, as well
as power steering and power brakes. Repainted in original Jonquil
Yellow with a black vinyl power assist top, this pint sized beauty
is in near perfect condition. The chrome and stainless are in
fantastic, show-quality shape. This Studebaker Lark sits on 4 wide
whitewall bias ply tires with factory wheelcovers and color-matched
wheels. The tan vinyl split-bench interior is in excellent
condition and show exceptionally well. The padded dash and steering
wheel look great and as they did when this Lark rolled off the
factory floor. The trunk is detailed and has a correct jack and
like new spare tire. Come check out this cute summer cruiser at
Ellingson Motorcars in Rogers, Minnesota!
