This car has a cool factor. It's a Super deluxe so it's loaded up
with trim and it has vintage style 50s upgrades. Overall in and out
it is respectfully clean, shows well. It has been collector owned
and driven. Maintained as needed.
EXTERIOR: It's a really good looking car. The body appears straight
and solid. Things fit well. The paint is smooth and glossy.
Standing next to the car it's show quality, I'm sure there's minor
flaws if you look for them. It has been pinstriped 50s style. It is
loaded up with bright trim. Upfront the grill looks new, it has the
red painted details. The turn signal lenses and bezels, hood
ornament, headlight bezels and bumper were replaced. The stainless
strips going down the fenders, down the sides of the car, around
the windows and on the trunk are all straight and shiny. The trim
around the driver's windshield is dented. In back the tail light
bezels, bumper and trunk handle was replaced. Custom features
include Lake pipes and dummy spotlights. Great choice of wheels and
tires. New Coker Classic wide whitewall tires. They actually look
like the original bias-ply but are radials on chrome smoothies.
Windshields look new. The weatherstrips and gaskets are soft.
INTERIOR: Very respectable inside. It has grey upholstery on the
seats. The side panels are black with stainless trim. Cloth
headliner and visors are very nice. The dash has a lot of beautiful
chrome, it's been in pinstriped. The original instruments actually
look good. It has a tachometer on the dash. Original radio is
included too. Seatbelts were added in front with retractable
shoulder belts. New carpet on the floor.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has been upgraded to a better, later model
Flathead V-8 and has vintage performance upgrades. Finned aluminum
Offenhauser heads, aluminum intake and three carbs. It runs off the
center carb for less hassle. It is dressed up with chrome louvered
air cleaners. The generator was upgraded to a chrome alternator and
12 volt system. The oil filter and filler cap are chrome. The upper
radiator tubes are polished. The motor runs smooth.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Biga it has been carpeted and has new seat
divider.
UNDERSIDE: Very tidy and clean appearance. The front end parts are
not brand new but it was rebuilt. The brakes were serviced, hoses
look recent, e-brake assembly is complete. New Posies lowering
springs. Fuel tank looks new. Has dual exhaust with flared tips.
The bottom of this car looks rock solid, it's been cleaned up and
painted nicely. The front brakes are even pinstriped!
This was not a high build at a restoration studio. This is a good
looking, vintage style hot rod that has been restored by gearhead
enthusiasts. It has personality!
