Vehicle Description
With distinct factory-correct colors, big block V8 power, and a
Tri-Power upgrade, this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette is a great standout
classic. So it has a sharp look that instantly attractive, and it
only gets better the deeper you dig into the details.
Cortez Silver is one of the brightest and most distinct metallic
colors offered on the Stingray, and it was only available for two
years. So that's why they spent plenty of time and money getting
the paint looking so good. In fact, we have thousands $$$$$ in
receipts from the 2004 restoration. And when you take good care of
quality, it lasts. That's why you have crisp body lines,
mirror-like chrome bumpers, excellent fitting T-tops, flush
headlight doors, and an overall look of a well-done car worthy of a
nickname (how about Quicksilver?)
The interior highlights why this one is a particularly great
driver's machine. The red interior has an aggressive look that's
fantastic against the exterior silver. And they invested heavily
during the restoration to make sure that the seats, carpeting, door
panels, dash, and much more feel bright and fresh. It really has a
quality classic feel right down to the little things, like storage
bags for the T-tops and the working factory-style AM/FM radio.
There's an unmatched feeling as you grab the three spoke steering
wheel, gaze through to the large speedo and tach, and see your full
auxiliary gauge panel at eye-level. And this experience only gets
better with the wind running through your hair. That's why it's
great to not only have the T-tops, but also the removable rear
window to allow this coupe to give you a convertible-like
experience.
Under the hood is the 427 cubic-inch V8. And while the displacement
alone will have you excited, there's also been an upgrade to a
triple set of dual-barrel carbs under the iconic triangle air
topper. They further upgraded the big block with a new performance
camshaft and long tube headers feeding a roaring 2.5-inch dual
exhaust. The TH400 three-speed transmission was part of the work
during the restoration. It's an ideal pairing that's stout enough
handle the big power motor, and at the same time, provides smooth
automatic shifting. The Corvette's fully independent suspension,
power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and upgraded Bilstein
shocks makes this big block beast quite fun and easy to tame.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, maintenance
records, and build receipts. This is a sharp-looking and powerful
coupe that's done the way you want it, and it's ready to run right
now. Don't miss out, call today!
