This 1972 Mazda RX-2 coupe has been fitted with a steel widebody and was refinished in blue over a modified black interior with houndstooth trim. Power comes from a rebuilt 1.1-liter 12A twin-rotor engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission, both of which were sourced from a first-generation Mazda RX-7. Additional features include white RX-2 side striping, a front lip, a ducktail spoiler, shaved door handles, Rota wheels, front disc brakes, power locks and windows, a roll bar, and aftermarket switchgear. The build reportedly was started by the previous owner in 1995, and the car was completed after the current owner acquired it in 2017. This modified RX-2 is now offered on dealer consignment with some service and build records as well as a clean California title.
